Cancellation
Customers can cancel their order for local pickup without any fees within 24 hours of placing the order. Please note that the fish would have already been reserved for you and removed from our online inventory. If a cancellation is made beyond the 24-hour period, a restocking fee of 25% will be applied. Please only place an order if you are sure of your purchase to avoid depriving another customer of the chance to provide a home for our Betta fish.
Refunds
Refunds for local pickups will only be granted if the fish is found to be in poor health at the time of pickup. If you find any issue with the fish at the time of pickup, please bring it to our attention immediately. Refunds will not be granted for claims made after the fish has left the pickup premises.
DOA
In the unlikely event that a fish is dead at the time of pickup, we will offer a full refund or replacement, subject to availability.
Please remember that by ordering from Seattle Betta Direct, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
MARBLING CHANGE
All bettas are assumed to have the marble genes. Marble, Koi, Blacklight, Butterfly, etc are all variations of the marble genes. We can't be held responsible for these color alterations after the betta has been photographed. Significant changes before shipping will be communicated to you; however, without a response, the fish will be sent as is. By making a purchase, you acknowledge and accept these potential color changes as part of the betta's natural behavior.
BETTA CARE
As a buyer from Seattle Betta Direct, it's your responsibility to research and provide proper care for bettas, including a suitable environment with clean, heated water. Seattle Betta Direct is not responsible for buyer's negligence.
Our bettas are accustomed to a varied diet that includes Hikari brand frozen bloodworms and brine shrimps, live daphnia, and premium flakes/pellets. We recommend a diverse diet with high-quality brands like Xtreme betta pellets or Fluval Bug Bites betta formula.
